Creating an Interactive Learning Network with Wireless Tablet PC’s in Sophomore-Level Engineering Courses

The study will focus on two engineering courses: Graphics and Dynamics. The same or similar homework, laboratory exercises, quizzes, and tests will be given to students in these two classes that use tablet pc's in the classroom, as those given in past years when the technology was not available. Student performance with and without the wireless technology will be compared. A student survey measuring student perceptions of and attitudes toward course content and technology in the classroom will be designed. A similar survey will be designed for instructors using the technology in the classes they teach.
