@ONE Hands-On Institutes offer California Community College

or Los Angeles
for 3 days of hands-on, project-based learning that will help YOU achieve your goal
of doing more for your students, while saving yourself time throughout the
year! The Winter Institute is an ideal
place to learn new skills and apply them to your own projects, while meeting
other professionals from throughout the California Community

@ONE Institutes are 3-5 day in-person training sessions offered
at a variety of locations throughout California. They offer
California Community College Faculty & Staff workshops training
that are:
* Affordable
The Hands-on Institutes, including meals, costs just
$75-100. One academic credit is available for an additional $60 through
San Jose State University if you complete a small demonstration project
after the Institute.
* Expert
Workshops are taught by knowledgeable faculty who create a
hands-on, flexible work environment. Courses also include
resources to extend the learning experience outside the Institute.
*Relevant
In just three to five days, you'll gain an understanding of
how technology fits into your flow of work - not just study
a specific software application. Workshop topics include
hands-on practice and labs that are designed with Community
College needs in mind.
*Collaborative
The Hands-on Institutes provide a great opportunity to share
your experiences, perspectives, and expertise with other
California Community College staff and faculty. Workshops
include team exercises and chances to exchange information.
*Convenient
The Hands-on Institutes are located within easy driving distance
from many colleges. For those traveling from further away,
we have arranged nearby hotel accommodations at a discounted
rate.
